My Creative Time's 24th Edition Stamp and Die Release- Blog Hop

Good Morning Crafty Friends! I am so so excited Friday is finally here! I am pretty sure ALL of you will enjoy this Release. I will be showcasing the "You're So Brilliant" Stamp and Die Set. Here are some snapshots of my Project:

 I purchased a set of journals last month with a plan to create an "IDEA" Craft Journal. Since, it had a black, white, and grey color theme, it was perfect to add some vibrant yellow color to it.

 

I love love love the light bulb die! It is so cute and can be used in so many different crafty themes. I used the "Vintage Stitched Label" Die Set in white and another in black for light bulb background. Adhered bright yellow half beads on each end of the label. For the bulb, I used a color swatch paper from paint color swatches you find at paint stores. for the bottom of the bulb pieces, painted the pieces silver with a sharpie marker. Bright Yellow Ribbon was used to embellish and to be used as a bookmark as well.

MCT's Sneak Peek #3

Count Your Blessings Frame...

Good Morning All and Happy Wednesday! I truly hope all of you are enjoying all the crafty inspiration that My Creative Time and Design Team Members are showcasing all week. Before the huge April  Stamp and Dies Release on Friday. For today, some of us Design Team members, will be showcasing "Life Is Good" Stamp Set. Along, with "Stitched Mini Frame" and "Stitched Capture Frame and Arrow Dies". For my project today, I chose to use "Life Is Good" Stamp Set and "Stitched Capture Frame" Die. Here are shots of my 4x6 decor frame:

This week's tradegy in the Boston Marathon was a Huge Inspiration for my project.

 

I used Stickles in different colors to add dimension and shimmer to the die cuts.

I love this Sentiment! It can be used in so many different projects. Especially, for gifts or cards when giving to a loved one or dear friend.

If you have not purchased any of My Creative Time Dies before, Let me tell you, that the stitching around the dies is so detailed that makes the cut stand out even more. If you have purchased dies from My Creative Time you will definately agree with me.

MCT's Designer Challenge Thursday

Happiness Keeps You Sweet Card...

 

Happy Happy Thursday All! Welcome back for another post of My Creative Time Designer Challenge Thursday. For today's Challenge, Design Team Member Cassandra has challenged all of us crafters to play with a color challenge. So here it is: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. Create a project of your choice using any 3 of the colors. If you really want to challenge yourself you are welcome to create with all 6 colors. For my project, I decided to make a clean and simple card. I have a friend that has been needing some Cheering Up. So, this challenge was perfect for making a card for her. Scrapping the Little Things

Good Morning Everyone! Grab your morning Coffee or drink of choice and get ready to be inspired this morning with My Creative Time and Design Team. Doesn't this Stitched Bunny Die look so adorable under the chevron ribbon?!? The cutie bunny was popped up with foam dots.

My Creative Time 3-D Wednesday

 

BINGO Money Tin...

 

 

 

Happy Wednesday All! I hope you are ready for another FUN episode of My Creative Time's 3-D Wednesday. My Inspiration this week was the Fun Game, My Family and Friends, get together once a month to play. Here in South Texas, The Mexican Bingo is very popular. And so much FUN to play too! Well, for this project this is what I created: My Bingo Money Tin.

 

I used an Almonds recycled Tin.

 

The background base is cut from a scrap I had. I believe it came From a DCWV Spring Stack.

 

The Blingy clear rhinestones look perfect in between each Banner Flag.

 

I decided to use a thick hemp cord wrapped aroun the tin and behind each Banner Flag. Adhered a bow and square brad in the center.

 

Isn't the lid just PERFECT!?!? The circle background is a saved scrap from another project. I added some Gold stickles to some of the numbers of the stamp for some sparkly effect. One sideof the tail of the banner, I cut myself to almost match the other side. And distressed the edges with black chalk fluid ink.

Now, Family Bingo Night will be much more FUN. With this colorful and sparkly Money Tin.
