My Creative Time- Thrifty Thursday

Make A Wish Birthday Card...

Good Morning All! First, I would like to say Happy Happy Birthday to My Beautiful Niece! She turns 17 today. I hope you have an amazing day, even though you have to go to school.

For today's Thrifty Thursday project, I am showing you all a colorful and vibrant Birthday Card I created for my Niece. She Loves Cupcakes and lots of color. So, what better way to combine those two, if not in a card.

I love how My Creative Time products make this card look like it took a lot of work to make. Yet, no time at all it was created. These dies and sentiment stamp can be seen and purchased HERE, along with many more My Creative Time products.

Of course I have to save every scrap of ribbon I have leftover from previous projects. These pieces were enough to create a border across the card and attach a small bow. Looking through my stash of brads, I managed to find a cupcake brad... perfect embelly! I just added some stickles for added shine.

I love using some of the My Creative Time stamped sentiments, for the inside of the card as well.

The base of the card measured 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
Every background paper for it was cut 1/4" smaller than the other.

I like to cut my leftover scraps into 6"x6" for card backgrounds. Then, the smaller scraps I like to save as well for die cuts. Every leftover piece seems to be useful in my craft room.
Thank you so much for stopping by to view my Thrifty Thursday project. Be sure to head on over to My Creative Time to take a look at the rest of the Design Team projects!

MCT's- Scrapping the Little Things

You're So Cute Halloween Page...

Happy Monday All! I hope you all had a very fun and creative weekend. As for me, I had a very much needed weekend off. Lately, I have been working a lot of 12-14 hour shifts. So, crafting was put on hold until I had a bit of time to play. Did some re-organizing in my Craft Room. And of course, I played a little too. So, let's get started with today's FUN project. Today, My Creative Time and Design Team are sharing some crafty inspiration. We are "Scrapping the Little Things", with Project Life, Smash Books, or simply creating some Scrapbooking Pages.
Since, I don't own a Project Life Book or Smash Book, I chose to do an 8"x8" Scrap Page.

I love that I was able to incorporate older release dies with new ones. And these FUN dies are so versatile, they really fit any theme of page you may be working on. I started with one idea and my creative mind took me to use all sorts of dies to decorate this page.

My Goodness, I saw this pic and knew this was perfect for this page. This pic is about 8 years ago. doesn't she look cute and creepy!?!?

The ghost eyes are from the stars and eyes background stamp.

I couldn't resist not putting some vibrant ribbon and feather since it was a girly page.

I hope you are all getting all your Pages ready to put all those cute and scary trick o' treater pics in them.
Thanks so much for taking time out of your day, to view my project for today.
Be sure to stop by My Creative Time to see what the rest of the Team created for today's Scrapping the Little Things Episode..
