Thank You Flower Card...

Happy Happy Friday Everyone! Good Morning Crafty Friends. This morning My Kids and I are enjoying Our First Day of Summer. Yesterday, was their last day of school. Lots of Smiles... Awards and Report Cards!!! Ok, now for today's Project Post. I made a Thank You Card to a Sweet Family of a Basic Trainig Soldier that sent my Husband (Drill Sgt. in Basic Training/Army) and Family a package full of Huckleberry Yumminess{pic at the end of this post}. So, the Sweet Gesture definately deserves a Thank You Card Made By Me...of course. I hope you all like:

Flower Layers were Cut on My Cricut Plum/Pink Expression.

Layer Cuts are: 4", 3 1/2", 3", 2 1/2", 2", 1 1/2", 1"

Petals were shaded with Fluid Chalk.

Added a half pearl from a dollar bin package.

Faux Stitches were added with a white gel pen. Also, I added some aqua mini adhesive beads from Imaginisce with the Pink Heating Tool. Punched White Cardstock with a Martha Stewart Border Punch.

Leaf Layers were Cut at 2", 1 1/2", and 1"

Added half pearls on each side of the Sentiment.

Edges were shaded with Fluid Chalk.

Black Ink Pad was used for the Sentiment.

And of Course used one of my favorite stamps sets from Joy's Life.

Inside of Card was decorated with leftover scraps to Coordinate.

Envelope was decorated with leftover scrap and punched to Coordinate Card.

Stamped Sentiment from the same stamp as Card.

Joy's Life Design Team Thursday- Project 3

Love Frame and Flowers...

Happy Thursday All! Today is another Design Team Thursday for Joy's Life Gals and Guy...Woohoo! Today's Project theme is all about Love, Wedding, and Anniversaries. Please stop be Joy's Blog at http://www.joyslife.com/ to wish her a Happy Anniversary. Ok, now for my project for this week. It has been a while since I worked with Vinyl. So, for this project I did just that. Along with a 5"x12", I used Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut Cart and Elegant Cakes Cricut Cart.
Here are some Snapshots of my Project for this Week:

I stamped "Love You" on some of the layered flowers for some petal depth. Inked with a brown ink pad.

Petal shadows are chalked with powder chalk and edged with fluid chalk (sienna shade).

I added Pop Dots to add some dimension to the layers. The "Love" word is opaqued with a piece of vellum designed with white vines and flowers in front of it.
