MCT 12 Days of Christmas- Day 1

Partridge In a Pear Tree- Mini Christmas Stocking

Happy Happy Thursday Morning... Crafty Friends! Welcome to My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! Make sure to start at Emma's Blog My Creative Time to begin this FUN and lots of Inspiration Hop. If you are coming from Nikki's Blog Scrappin Navy Wife, then you are in the right spot. For my First Day of Christmas Project, I decided to use the Partridge in a Pear Tree theme. Let me get started by showing you some pics of this easy to make project.

Creme Color Christmas Stocking from Target's Dollar Bin. The background paper was printed from Cricut Imagine Vintage Papers Cartridge. I added some brown chalking to the edge.

I didn't have Candy Canes, but remembered I had bought some Candy Cane Chenille Stems from Joann's Dollar Bins. Adhered a feather behind the green ribbon. Since, I didn't have enough green ribbon to make a bow and used cording to make the bow. I found a glitter button and used a small amount of hot glue to adhere it. I usually pin my projects to my wire frame with pnk/black clothes pins. But, since I had some left I decided to paint some for the holidays. This clothes pin I painted it red then added some Red Stickles from Ranger and let it dry. After, I put some Glossy Accents for some sheen.

This Partridge in a Pear Tree was made from the Cricut's Joys of the Season Cartridge. I used creme color cardstock and used BIC Markers to color. Also, added some glitter glue (yellow and lime green) to make the die cut stand out  even more.

XL Label Die, Whimsical Calendar Days, Build a Banner Kit, All Around Birthday Time were used to make this calendar tag.  I added some Red Stickles to make some red dots and on the lil' square around the 1.

As I was writing this post, I had an awesome idea. How cute would a clothesline of these mini Christmas stockings look on a wall! I am definately going to give it a try.
