Cupcakes n' Bows...



Good Morning and Happy Hump Day! I hope you All are enjoying My Creative Time's 27th Release Sneak Peeks so far. Today, will be Sneak Peek #3 and  I will be showcasing a cute and fun die. Emma designed two Cute Cute Cute Stitched Scalloped Bow Dies. One is a small and the other is a medium size. For my project today, I am showcasing the Medium Stitched Scalloped Bow. My Family's birthdays happen to fall during Summer and Fall. This past week, happened to be my Niece's Birthday. So, I made her lots of Cute Jumbo Cupcakes with Bows.

 These Bows can be cut from scraps. Easy to mix and match for lots of color.

 

 This Jumbo Cupcake was made for my Niece.

I cut skewers to size then adhered the bows to the skewers to add them to the cupcakes.

3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time and Design Team

Sweet Teddy Bear...

 

 

Crafty Wishes this Wednesday morning All! Welcome back for another FUN 3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time and some of the Design Team Members. Our Challenge for this Project was pretty simple. Incorporate Buttons into a non- layout or non- card project. Lately, I have been on a Sweet Treats trip. Once again, I will be starting my cake, cupcake, and cookie decorating class. I am excited to get all of my Yummy decorating supplies out again! For today's project, I made a mini mini heart cake treat and tags to go along with a cello baggie. Let's get started with some shots of it.

 

 

I was able to cut this mini mini cake with a cookie cutter before decorating it. For some reason, polka dots kept jumping at me instead of stripes. For the tag, I used fluid chalk to distress the edges in black. Used black archival ink for the border. For the bow, I used dollar bin yellow ribbon. On top of the ribbon, I adhered a hemp bow and on top of that a cute black button. As for the lil' cute bear, I used some copics to color him in and stickles. DMC floss was used for a tiny bow. To finish the Bear off I colored a lil' black bee hat. Added some Glossy accents on his eyes, nose, mouth, hat, and paws. To finish this CUTE Tag, I also added a mini eraser bee.

 

I also made a tag for the back of the cello bag with my blog stamp and adhered more tiny eraser bees. Before all of that, stamped the border around the tag in black archival ink.

My Creative Time's 3D Wednesday

 

 

Mom and Daughter Crafting Therapy...

 

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Happy 3D Wednesday! For this morning my Creative Time and some of the Design Team would like to share with you Birthday theme 3D Projects. We are celebrating Emma's SWEET (just like a Cupcake...heehee) Mom's Birthday! Happy Happy Birthday Dear Mom! For my 3D Project I wanted to invite My Sweet and Talented Mom for this project. Since, both of us had not crafted in awhile. I thought this would be the perfect time to start. As soon as I saw this fabric at our local craft store, I knew  we had to make something CUTE! What came to mind? A Halloween Cupcake Giftset of course.! I know Emma's Mom's Birthday is in August. But, why not get an early Halloween Birthday gift. Here are pics of our Project:

My Creative Time Emma's Birthday Blog Hop

Silhouette Cupcake Card...

Good Morning Crafty Friends! Welcome and thank you for joining us in helping celebrate Emma's from My Creative Time's BIRTHDAY!!! If you are coming from Nikki's Blog aka Scrappinnavywife, then you are in the right spot. Well, for my Project today, I am showcasing One of Emma's beautiful Font Sentiment Stamp Set. It is called Floral Sentiments. For my Card, I had a cupcake piecing in mind. Well, too much thought into the card, I kept changing it. Not too happy with it, I decided to not use it. Stumped on what to create next, I looked at my leftover pieces, and decided to use the negative part of the cupcake cut out. Put some background paper to it and adhered the pieces to a base card. Thus, it became my Silhouette Cupcake Card. Embellished of course, I then was satisfied with the end results. Here is some pics of the card:

I wanted to show you a cupcake pin cushion that I made the other day.
