Joy's Life Design Team Thursday- Project 3

Love Frame and Flowers...

Happy Thursday All! Today is another Design Team Thursday for Joy's Life Gals and Guy...Woohoo! Today's Project theme is all about Love, Wedding, and Anniversaries. Please stop be Joy's Blog at http://www.joyslife.com/ to wish her a Happy Anniversary. Ok, now for my project for this week. It has been a while since I worked with Vinyl. So, for this project I did just that. Along with a 5"x12", I used Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut Cart and Elegant Cakes Cricut Cart.
Here are some Snapshots of my Project for this Week:

I stamped "Love You" on some of the layered flowers for some petal depth. Inked with a brown ink pad.

Petal shadows are chalked with powder chalk and edged with fluid chalk (sienna shade).

I added Pop Dots to add some dimension to the layers. The "Love" word is opaqued with a piece of vellum designed with white vines and flowers in front of it.

Design Team Thursday- Project 2

Deer Friend Card and Envelope...

Good Morning All... this is my Second post for the day. I previously posted the Winners for the Blog Hops for this past weekend.

Today, I'm posting a Very Cute Card and Perfect Joy's Life Sentiment to go with the Card and Envelope. When I saw the "You're a Deer Friend" from Joy's Life NEW "Wild Life Puns" Stamp Set, I knew exactly what Cricut Cart I wanted to use for this Project. The Cartridge is Cindy Loo. Believe it or not, I had this cart since it came out, but never used it...until now...heehee. The Glitter Printed Cardstock and Solid Cardstock is from DCWV. Here are Snapshots of this Oh So Cute Card and Matching Envelope:

This Cutie really needed some Bling around her Neck. I used the I-Rock and heat set Bling.

All the white cardstock, I decided to add some glitter glue (Stardust) to coordinate with the glittered background Printed Cardstock .

Added a 1 1/2 " pleated border and on top of it I added a faux printed polka dotted ribbon with half beads on the ends.

I don't know if you have noticed, but I love love love coordinating the Envelopes with the same sentiment and cut image or printed cardstock/paper.

Gloria's Birthday Blog Hop... Groovy Party

Groovy Party Theme...

Happy Happy Hoppin' Friday Crafty Friends!!! If you are coming from Sarah's Blog you are in the right Spot. For My Birthday Theme Project, I wanted to do a Bright, Colorful, and Fun Groovy Party. I recently purchased Groovy Times Cricut Cartridge and thought this was a perfect cart for this Birthday Theme. Here are Some Snapshots of my Groovy Party Theme:

My 14 yr. old Son volunteered himself to bake and decorate the Cupcakes. I think he put a bit more Icing on Purpose. Since, He always seems to eat all of My Edible Props...heehee.

These are 3x4 Baggies I found in the Craft Department from my Local WalMart. They cme in a package of 100 for 2.00 Dollars.

I Even made a Place Card for Gloria...heehee.
