My Creative Time- Stamp of the Month

Egg-stra Small Card...

Hi Crafty Friends! Welcome Back for another My Creative Time "Stamp of the Month" post. The MCT DT is showcasing My Creative Time's First Three Edition Stamp Sets. If You would like to view or purchase any of those stamp sets, please stop by the My Creative Time Shoppe.

For my project today, I decided to use an Oldie but Goodie with a New Release. Meaning, I used "Color Me Happy" and " Hello Spring" Stamp Sets and Laying Die.

Here are some pics of my Project:

This Egg-stra Small Card could also be used as a gift tag on a gift.

I traced the background layer of the Egg to a folded piece of kraft cardstock. Cut the traced line while still folded. Then, adhered the layers to the front and inside of the card base.

The top layer is colored with chalk and puff balls to add a blended effect. The stamp image was stamped first. Let it dry, then added the yellow chalking all over the image. I did a circular motion to add some orange chalking to the center of the daisies. I also sparkled the center of the tiny flowers with some stardust stickles. Finished it off with some gold cording and a cute sentiment with tiny flower. The flower also has a tiny rhinestone on it.

Thank you so much for stoping by to view my post for today. Don't forget to participate with the DT and My Creative Time with this Challenge. My Creative Time will be having a LINKY PARTY using the First Three Edition Stamp Sets.

Also, My Creative Time will have One Set of each of the First Three Editions on SALE! So, make sure to stop by MY CREATIVE TIME SHOPPE!

MCT's Sneak Peek #3

Happy Wednesday and post Valentine's Day All! I hope Everyone had a nice or relaxingValentine's Day! Thank you so much for joining My Creative Time and DT for another FUN Sneak Peek! For today's Sneak Peek Post I am Showcasing the "Hello Spring" Stamp Set. Emma has really given me a Challenge with this Cute Fun Stamp Set. I am not much of a  Coloring Image Crafter. I also do not own fancy and artistic markers. For awhile I have wanted to try coloring with Color Pencils then using Gamesol to give the image a Watercolor look. Here is some pics of  My Chickie Treat Holder:

The pencil colors and watercolor effect give the Image a soft pastel color. Added Glossy Accents to the Chickie Eyes and lil' beak. I outlined and shaded the Egg with a soft skintone color and added Stardust Stickles to the Egg Image as well. I blushed the Chickies too.

I cut out the Sentiment and added Stickles to the Swirls.

I used the small cirle from the "Build a Banner Kit" Set to make a Button and added swirls background from the "Hello Spring" Set.

The Back and Front of the Holder were Stamped with another Image of the Same Set," Hello Spring". Gave it a lil' color on the Flowers and added Stickles to them.

I hope you liked what you see so far! Make sure to head beack to My Creative Time Blog to see more Spring Inspiration from the rest of the DT.

MCT's- Monday Madness... Imagine That!

A Special Time To Celebrate

Happy Monday All! Welcome back to another of My Creative Time's " Monday Madness... Imagine That!" For today, I will be featuring the "All Around Birthday Stamp Set". Also, I will be using the Cricut Imagine and Cart called, " Black & White" by Teresa Collins. My Project for today will be a Birthday Card and using Blue Tones with a Spark of Silver colored ribbon. Here are some pics of my Monday Project:

I wanted to be a simple east to make card. Not too much, so it could also be used for a masculine Birthday.

Added a lil' Rhinestone in the middle of the clock image. I love how My Creative Time Stamp Sets tie in together so well. And they are SUPER versatile!

The background was a printed image from Teresa Collins Black & White Imagine Cart.

If you would like toView or Purchase " All Around Birthday" Stamp Set or any other Set and Dies, Please go to My Creative Time Shop.

Thanks so much for stopping by, to view my project for today. Make sure to stop by My Creative Time and check the other DT member's projects too.
