My Creative Time's Farewell Blog Hop

Mini "Holly"day Gift Bag...

Welcome to My Creative Time's "Farewell Blog Hop"! We are doing this Hop to HONOR and send off our "Current Design Team" in a fun way. Since all of us have become friends, we are doing our LAST blog hop together making it a "Friendship"  theme.  I hope all of "YOU" thoroughly enjoyed this team as much as we did! Since, this is a special day, there will be a giveaway at EACH STOP! Yep, that means we are having a total of 19 giveaways! All you have to do is leave your comments and a way to contact you in case you are a winner, in order to qualify! Emma will announce all the winners on Monday, 12/23/2013 on her blog!

Here is what I am Giving Away:

HEXY BACKGROUND STAMP

I know the theme was "Friendship", but I did make this "Holly"day Gift Bag for a Special Friend. I wish I could give you a sneak peek of what's inside, but I know she looks at my blog. So, in a way this project is still "Friendship" themed. I decided to keep the background cardstock simple. I really wanted the Hexy background to stand out instead of adding a lot of embellishment to the bag.

I love adding ribbon to most of my projects and what better way to add a simple bow to this mini bag. The Holly center is a magnet that can be removed and later on added or used on something else. The bow and Holly magnet were adhered with a glue gun. The Hexy Background and tag layers were raised with large foam dots.

All the Cardstock layers were distressed on the edges with fluid chalk inks (Red and Chocolate Brown). I also added some stardust stickles to the Hexies.
Thank you so much for joining me for my Last My Creative Time blog post. Please continue to enjoy the rest of the Design Team Projects for this Blog Hop.

My Creative Time 28th Stamp Set and Dies Release- Blog Hop

Make Up Brush Holder...

Happy Happy Friday All! I hope you are having FUN hopping with my Creative Time and the Chicas (DesignTeam) so far. Oh my goodness, are you amazed with Emma's creative mind so far? Don't you just LOVE her 28th Release? I am soooo in LOVE with it ALL! I didn't know where to start with all the fun new dies and stamp sets! Ok, so let's get started with the Hop. If you are here from Nancy's Blog, Scrapping Out of Control, then you are where you need to be, with ME!!!
I will be showcasing  Classy Girl & Furbaby Die Set and Classy Girl Accessories.
When I saw this die, I knew where I wanted to put the cuts. I am reorganizing my Makeup Vanity and needed to dress up some of my makeup brush holders. I knew I wanted purple ribbon and clear rhinestones on them. When I saw this Classy Girl, I knew she had to go on some of the holders too.

I cut a piece of 1 1/2" purple ribbon and hot glued the ends to the glass holder. I cut the Girl Die from black Cardstock. Adhered it with 3-in-1 Beacon Glue. Also, adhered the clear rhinestones with 3-in-1 Beacon Glue all the way around the glass.

The Purse is from the Classy Girl Accessories Die Set. Cut the purse out of Black Cardstock and blinged it out with Stickles Silver. I also gave her a silver belt, boots, and jewelry with the stickles. I really Love how she looks on my Makeup Vanity. Can't wait to try her out in Silver Cardstock with blinged out black brush holders.

Right now, My Nieces and I are enjoying Makeup and Nails and are always on the lookout for new things. This would be a CUTE way to give them things I find for them.

MCT's- Scrapping the Little Things

Light the Candles Scrap Page...

Welcome back for another episode of My Creative Time "Scrapping the Little Things". I get excited (Yayyy) when the Design Team has Mondays, where we get to create Pages around our life memories (pictures). Since, I chose to create with just layouts instead of Project Life or Smashbook, I usually make mine 8"x8" Layouts. My pages usually get hung on the walls instead of storing them in a book.
For this Layout, I decided to make it simple. Since, it was a male birthday layout, it was super hard not to use ribbons and lots of embellies (sniff, sniff). I found a polka dotted cardstock and knew right away that I wanted the page very colorful. Since, no ribbons or lots of embellies were not going to be used.

The candles were cut freehand from scraps of solid cardstock. Then, I added some stickles to the lighted part and candle itself. They were adhered with foam squares for raised dimension.

Love Love Love... these Stitched Fun Ticket Dies! They can be used with any type of sentiment and make the project look so fun. The dies were also cut from leftover scraps. the white ticket was stamped with sentiment and adhered with large foam dots for raised dimension. Most of my layers on this page were inked or distressed on the edges.

My Creative Time- Inspire Me Tuesday

Stars Thank You Card...

Hi All, Happy Happy Tuesday! I hope your weekend was full of crafty and fun times! As for me, I was on the GO, GO, GO. It was filled with errands, kids, and games to go to. Not to mention a super quick trip to South Padre Island, for some water and wave therapy for an injured football player. What is a Mom to do, but lots of Multi-tasking, Right?!?!
Okie Dokie, let's get to the Inspire Me Tuesday project. For my Card today, I was Inspired by the whole theme of My Son's Football Game on Friday. It was to Celebrate and Say "Thank You" to All the Veterans who have Served and Sacrificed their Lives for our Freedom and Country.
God Bless the USA!

Here are some shots of today's Card:

Very Simple Card to make with the Dies and used Foam dots on each layer for dimension.

I like how the Buttons look on the background very Americana Style.

Love the elengance of the sentiment font. I really dresses up my Card. The sentiment was stamped in Black Ranger Ink. The bow and ribbon border were from small leftover scraps from another project.

My Creative Time Supplies Used:

Floral Sentiments Stamp Set

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at today's Inspire Me Tuesday project. Be sure to head on over to My Creative Time to look at the rest of the Design Team creations.

My Creative Time's Stamp of the Month

Fall Plant Toppers...

Good Morning Crafty Friends! I am so happy to start my Fall/ Thanksgiving Décor. Besides Christmas, Fall is my all time Favorite Holiday! I just LOVE all the Rich Rich Fall colors that stores have in home décor. I think this Fall, I am going to make a lot of the Fall décor Kid Friendly and not so sophis/chic. Ok, let's get started with today's post.

My Creative Time is showcasing 2 Favorite Stamps of the Month: Mixed Holiday Sentiments and Piles of Smiles.

As you can see, I decided to use Piles of Smiles Stamp Set. Here are some shots of my project:

My Fall Décor is on it's way to the outdoor patio and plants. I made 3" Scallop Circle Toppers for the smaller plants. I used burlap ribbon and brown/white ribbon for background. I thought adding two vibrant color feathers, were the perfect touch as well.

The yellow printed cardstock was cut at 2.75". Then, distressed the edges with a file. Adhered I to the scallop circle. The white stamped circle was raised with foam dots and adhered as well.

Stamped the Sign in the orange scrap leftover. Stamped the sentiment in the center using brown ink. Added stickles on the edge and on the turkey feathers.  Paper pieced the turkey hands to the sign. Added clear glaze on the face and buckle of the hat for dimension. The turkey was stamped in brown ink and colored with color pencils.

Thank you so much for stopping by to view today's project, for My Creative Time, Favorite Stamp of the Month. Head on over to My Creative Time to view more Fun projects with these two stamp sets.
