My Creative Time 3-D Wednesday

Mini Vase Photo Display...

Good Morning Crafty Friends! Welcome back for another 3-D Wedenesday with My Creative Time and some of the Design Team. For today's challenge we were asked to create a Photo Display project . Well, I created a project with a recycled thread spool the other day. So, I decided to take that as an inspiration and change it up a bit. This time, I decided to use a glass mini vase with jewelry beads in it. Here are some pics for you to get an idea of what I created:

Holding the mini picture frames is black bendable wire. The lip of the vase is covered with jute ribbon. Then, I glued some rope around it. Left some strands for tails and added a red polka dot flower from My Creative Time Flower Petals Die Set.

I cut different color Photo Frames and stamped a My Creative Time Just Simply Live Stamp Sentiment on it. The edges were distressed with a brown fluid chalk pad.

Here is a closer look of the flower I adhered to the rope. Also, a white half bead was adhered to the flower for a finished look. I just LOVE the stitching and the look they have after they have been distressed with some fluid chalk or distress ink.

Once again, Thank You so much for stopping by and be sure to head on over to My Creative Time and see the rest of the Design Team projects.

My Creative Time Designer Challenge... Recycle

Spool and Wire Picture Holder

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to another My Creative Time Designer Challenge. For today's Challenge, DT member, Veronica from VKCreate chose to use RECYCLE as our theme. I really enjoyed this project. Many of my projects consist of recycled household goods. So, let's get started by taking a look at some shots I took of my recycled project.

http://www.creativetimeforme.com

My Recycled products are bendable wire and a spool of thread.

I could not have made this picture of my parents more special, if it wasn't for the Just Live Simply Stamp and Die Set. The Polaroid Frame Die is Absolutely Cute! I also used Happy Mail Stamp Set and Tiny Tag Greetings Stamp and Die Set. XMas Red Stickles added to the hearts and brads. Black Ink was used for the Love You Sentiment. Red Ink Pad was used for the three mini hearts.

My Mind's Eye printed cardstock was used for the flower along with the Rolled Flower Dies set. On each end of the spool I adhered a scalloped circle from the Scalloped and Stitched Circle Die Set. For the bendable wire that holds the polaroid frame, I used Krylon paint (Brown Glitter).

Sentiment from Happy Mail Stamp Set. Also used My Mind's Eye Cardstock.

Adhered a tiny scrap of polka dotted ribbon. I will forever LOVE this pic I took of My Dad and Mom holding hands while he was in the hospital.

I hope you liked today's Recycled Project. Be sure to head on over to the rest of the My Creative Time DT members to take a look at their FABULOUS Projects.
