For my project, I made an easy and quick tag for gifts. The products from My Creative Time really dress up this mini kraft color Bag. Most of these papers and cardstock are scraps. Including the ribbon, was a piece of scrap from a previous project.

Added a Big Bow with a Big Blingy Stone to complete the project. Everything was adhered with Beacon's 3-in-1 glue and a hot glue gun for the bow.

My Creative Time's: 3-D Wednesday

Butterfly Canvas Wall Decor...

Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends! Welcome back for another episode of My Creative Time's 3-D Wednesday. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this day because I always tend to go for Home Décor. It really gives me a chance to decorate my home or just give something created by me to a special family member or dear friend. If you are new to My Creative Time or 3-D Wednesday, it is a day where anything goes except Cards or Layouts.

My Inspiration for today's project came from a BBBB (Big Beautiful Black Butterfly) that was at my parent's house the other day. One of my great loves besides CUPCAKES, would be Butterflies. So, this is what I came up with:

I started with a clean white canvas. Did lots of distressing and painting to the canvas. Once, the paint and distress inks were dry, I added some gold stickles for dimension and sparkle. Let the sparkle dry then stamped the background stamp Script Type Backgrounds Stamp Set with a Sepia Ink Pad.

With Black Ink, I stamped the Sentiment Treasured Moments Stamp Set . Silhouette Butterflies are from the Chunky Jar Accessories Set .

I had a package of Butterflies saved up for a special project. This definitely was the perfect project for one of those beautiful project.

MCT's Thoughtful Thurdsay

Thank You Tags and Card...

Good Morning Crafty Friends! Welcome back for another episode of My Creative Time's Thoughtful Thursday. For today's project My Creative Time and Design Team are featuring projects around a "Thoughtful" gesture or deed.
For my project, I decided to create a Card thanking a Sweet Friend. This was made with leftover scraps.

I made this pocket with 2 cuts outs from the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die. One of the Die Cuts was trimmed in half and backed with foam dots.

MCT's Scrapping the Little Things

VMHS 11th Grade Scrap Page...

Happy Morning and a Happy Crafty Monday All! Welcome back for another post of My Creative Time's, Scrapping the Little Things. The Design Team is creating Memories with Project Life, Smash Books, or Scrap Layouts. The theme for this week's Scrapping the Little Things is "Back to School". Using of Course Stamps Sets and Dies from My Creative Time.

For my project today, I worked on a layout for my Son's Scrapbook. I am so impressed of how simple and fast this Layout was to create. I have been planning to get all of my Son's pics scrapbooked for awhile now, so I can get them all ready for his Graduation DVD, for next year. I would hate to get everything done last minute. That would be a lot of work for his Senior year. Here are some shots of his 11th Grade Scrap Page:

I was debating on putting any bling on this page. I wanted to keep the masculine look. But, I think it looks ok because it gives it dimension and it goes with the background paper.

PAGE LAYOUT SIZE: 8"x 8"

MCT's Tag It Tuesday

Baby Boy Jungle Tag...

Good Morning Crafty Friends!
Welcome back for another post of Tag It Tuesday with My Creative Time and Design Team. I Love this Theme Day because it helps me prepare gift tags ahead of time. There are ALWAYS Birthdays, Holidays, and other special occasions going on around here. So, it really helps to have one of these handy tags done ahead of time.
For my tag today, I made a simple but cute Baby Boy Animal Tag. I have a friend whom is almost due. And of course, she is having a baby boy. So, I had to get that baby gift tag out of the way.

The nice thing about this tag, I used scraps and left over pieces of ribbon.
The inside printed cardstock I cut with my trimmer at 1/4" smaller than the kraft background layer. I also used a corner rounder to make the edges similar to the outside layer.
The words were stamped in black ink and I went over them with a stardust gelly roll pen. I also added three pieces of sequence to add dimension. The arrow die cut was lifted with cut pieces of foam.
