I Won CK 20,000 Fan Facebook Giveaway...Lots of Goodies

I have been wanting to share something so awesome that happened to me a few weeks ago. CK contacted me, to let me know I was #19 winner of the CK 20,000 FAN Facebook Giveaway. A big brown box was sitting in front of my door when we got home Friday evening. Well, my son rushed to the door thinking Gramma had sent him something from Texas. He came back to the car with a gloomy face saying," Mom... you just got some big box in the mail from your Favorite magazine. I doubt it's a magazine in that big box, though." He was right it was not a magazine. It was ALOT of goodies for me to play with. I thought... I would share with you all what came inside the box. Enjoy your Sunday and hope you are all doing something CREATIVE today.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Wings of Hope Card...

Ok... Everyone, I finally get a chance to announce what I have had up my sleeve for about a week.
Yes, some of you guessed right... Breast Cancer Awareness. I know I am kind of a bit early for this. But, alot of you probably heard of our  Crafty and Talented friend Monique Griffith (link to her CaringBridge site story). I have a "Fight Like A Girl" button posted on my side bar of my Blog. This button takes you to her CaringBridge site story. A couple of months ago, My Pink Stamper Robyn, asked all of  the Crafty Blog friends to send cards for a bit of comfort and to let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers. Well, once in a while I will see comments on Facebook from her that she is raising money for the Susan G. Koman San Francisco Race. Well, it occured to me that all us Crafty and Not so Crafty Blog and Facebook Friends could help her a bit by sending her more words of faith, hope, and encouragement along with ONE DOLLAR BILL. I had participated in something similar for a little boy who also had Cancer. He no longer is with us, but he enjoyed every single card and dollar bill everyone sent to him. His story was also shown in his Local Town News, which mentioned how so many people came together to do this Wonderful gesture for a little boy they never met. I know, many of you sent Monique ( this is her link to her craft blog) cards from My Pink Stamper's request. But, from reading her comments on Facebook, she still has some not so good days as well as weeks. If a card is not possible, then I hope a small note can be sent along with the ONE DOLLAR BILL. I did contact Monique via e-mail and was pleased with the idea. She commented, in return to receiving the ONE DOLLAR BILLS she would donate them  to her funraiser for the Race.
For many years, I have been so passionate and supportive of Breast Cancer Awareness ... being that I LOVE THE COLOR PINK!!!
To all of my BLOG and Facebook Besties and Friends... I hope you WILL be able to HELP in this project that I will be holding for the rest of the month of AUGUST.
*** Please help me spread the word... AND POST IT ON YOUR BLOGS AND FACEBOOK PAGES. I will truly be indebted with you for your help and support with this GREAT CAUSE!!!
** Once you have done this Great Gesture, please send me a comment or e-mail along with a link with a pic of the card or note that you are mailing off to her. I would LOVE to see how many pics get sent to me.  There will be a Breast Cancer Giveaway at the second week of September for those who are joining me in this Awesome Project.

This is her Address:
Monique Griffith
1879 Butterfly Ct.
Rocklin, Ca 95765

I also plan to involve all my family and local friends here on our Military Post. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my Heart for taking time to read this post and assisting me with this Request.

Have a Wonderful Week !!!

Back to School Blog Hop Lucky Winner...

Good Monday Morning to All. My kids woke up pretty excited this morning. And NO...it was not because it was a School Day. It was because they were able to help me pick a winner. I really wish... my noodles were all there yesterday. I should of taken a PIC of my two kids glued to the computer screen and following the Blog Hop too. It was too funny. They read comments and left to play, eat, and came back and read more comments. I really don't know what got into them... but they were pretty into the HOP too. So, I promised them yesterday they could help me pick a winner. Instead of doing a RANDOM.ORG drawing... I went OLD SCHOOL. I let my daughter pick out the name and comment piece of paper out of a BIG glass container. This is why my Daughter and Son got up extra early today...

262 Reasons ( Blog Comments, E-mails, and FB messages) That is quite a bit for one weekend... don't you think??? But, we more than DEFINATELY ENJOYED reading every single one. And I am truly truly sorry for the sweet people that were not able to leave me a comment. I really do apologize from the bottom of my HEART!!! So, on with it. My daughter mixed and mixed her hand in all the little pieces of papers.

And finally pulled one out.

CONGRATULATIONS... SHAWNA MAGRUM PEDERSON!!!!

You have won the Paper Crafts Magazine's Special Issue that was generously donated by SHOP SCRAP & PAPER CORNER. Thank you so much Paper Crafts Mag for being so kind and being part of our Blog Hop by donating this Inspirational Issue.

Good Morning Everyone!!! I hope you have enjoyed all of the Ladies "Back to School" projects so far. If you are coming from Stephanie's Blog, then you are at the right spot...Mine!!! I have had an extremely FUN but also busy week. My kids started their First Day of School yesterday. Many exciting and fun stories were shared with me, on the way home from school. Too cute... always to hear their excitement of meeting new friends and Teachers. It never gets OLD!!! I made these projects keeping my good friend and Kindergarten Teacher in mind. I started off with making her a vertical banner for her classroom door. Then, made her a coordinating potted plant for her desk. Also, I could not forget her students and decided to make another coordinating can filled with pencils with hanging school theme oversized charms (heehee). Lastly, I thought why not include a giftcard holder. Which I know ALOT of Teachers usually have to put money out of their pockets to decorate their classroom. So, I decided to add a giftcard to contribute to her classroom. Here are a few pics of the projects I made for my Friend/Kindergarten Teacher.
