Mary from Cardz TV had a Christams in July Challenge on her blog. I did not enter my card for that challenge because I did not make it a Christmas theme. But, I did decide to use the colors she asked for as inspiration for my card. I very much enjoyed using black as my background and cupcake silhouette colors! The "You're the lil' CUP on my CAKE" sentiment I decided to use it for the inside of the card. I hope it is not too corny of a sentiment. And if it is, please let me know. Thanks Mary... for sharing this challenge with everyone. Here is a glimpse of my cupcake card:
Supplies Used:
Cricut Expression
Cake Basics Cartridge
Cardstock:
Value Pack (The Paper Company, black, red, and white)
DCWV (two shades of pink, black, and lime green)
Martha Stewart Punch
Sentiment:
Rosy's Noodles (tee hee)
Micro Word
Sweet Creations...

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card tfs
ReplyDeleteThe really like the black background also. The green and red cupcakes "pop" out and that sparkle on the top takes "the icing on the cake". : )
ReplyDeleteRosy....that was soooo cute. I love it and your blog.
