My Creative Time- Show Me Your Technique

Beary Pink Mini Cupcake...

Happy Tuesday and Welcome to another "Show Me Your Technique" with My Creative Time and some of the Design Team Members. If you are coming from Nikki aka Scrappin' Navy Wife, then you are in the right spot. If you have not started from the beginning, then head on over to My Creative Time. This past Friday, we had a Beary Speacial Surprise from Emma. She realeased a Beary FUN stamp set. Well, for my project, I made some Beary Cute Baby Shower Themed Treats. Quite a bit of you asked how I did my Faux Mini Cupcake. So, today I will be showing how I made the Mini Cupcake. Since, this month is Breast Cancer Awareness, I thought this was the perfect time to use My Pink Ribbon Paper.

Mini Cupcake measures about 2 inches in diameter.

Cut a piece of Printed Cardstock 1 1/8"X 5".

Pass it through the Crimping Machine diagonally.
Adhere each end with strong adhesive to make a mini cup.

Cut a 4" diameter circle out of felt, quilt batting, or fabric.

Stitch thread 1/4" from the circle edge.

Place three good size Cotton Balls in the center of the circle.

Pull on the thread until the circle closes up into a ball. Knot the thread and cut.

Cut one circle 2" and inside is cut 1/2" smaller. The next circle will be cut 1 3/4" and the inside of that circle is cut 1/2" smaller. The smallest circle is cut a 3/4".

The small circle is will be cut free handed with scissors to make a small spiraled circle.

Adhere circles to Felt ball.

Adhere Felt Ball to the mini cup.
And there you have the cutest Mini Cupcake!

Thank You So Much For Stopping By! I hope to see you tomorrow for 3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time and Design Team Members. Have a beautiful week!
