Giftbox with I {HEART} You 3 Times Tag

Hi Everyone... Finally, my first video. I felt a video was a bit faster than written down instructions on how to make a 4x4x2 Giftbox with tag. Sorry, it goes a bit fast, but I wanted you to at least see how I create these cute boxes. Maybe, you can also create a couple of them before Valentine's Day. You might think these take a bit to make, but once you make your second or third one, you can do them with your eyes closed...lol. Well, maybe not, but they sure do go pretty fast. I hope you enjoy viewing my very first video. And PLEASE let me know what you think.

Thanks So Much For Stopping by.

Just For Her... GiftBox

 Bows, PolkaDots, and Posies

Today's project was definately... Made For Her. With bows, polka dots, and posies. There is no doubt about it. Not to mention the color splash... greens, pinks, and whites.

This cute box all started with a Glue Shopping Spree this past weekend. I was not too happy with the outcome of other adhesives and glues, I had used on my previous box projects.  So, this is what I came home with:

I was very happy with the outcome of this glue from Beacon.

The Scallop circle was punched with a 2" EK Success punch. The circle was cut out at 1.75" from the Fiskars Circle Cutter. The Butterfly/ Dragonfly is an emebellishement I purchased at my local Dollar Store.

After I cut the the square for the Lid, I decided to punch a border with the EK Success Border Punch.

The last piece I added to the lid was the posies square. I chalked it with a coordinating color on the edges. Then, used my New Fav Glue (3 in 1 Craft Glue from Beacon) to adhere it to the Lid.

Thank you so much for taking a glance at my post for today. Please let me know what you think.

Celebrate 2011 in Pink

Bottle and Card Giftset

I really liked how this giftset turned out. I wish the giftpaper color showed up better in the pictures. We were invited to a friend's house for a dinner celebration for NewYear's Eve. So, I quickly threw together a card and dressed up the bottle. I really cannot remember exactly what supplies I used but I will do my best to post them (since I did the set before we left to the dinner and had no time to write down notes).

I cut the left over wrapping on the top into strips and curled them down with scissors. I wanted to give it a diff touch other than putting a bow out of ribbon.

The Tag is what I had the most fun doing. I used my Gypsy Girl to design the Bottle Tag. Lacy Labels  Cart was the cart I used to make the base for the Tag.

The Pink and Striped Gift Wrap Paper I found at my local Walmart and it is the Support Breast Cancer Paper. I used it to wrap the bottle and as background paper for the Tag and Card.

The glasses on the Tag and Card were cut from an Accetate Sheet.  The glittery paper was a pack I bought at my local dollar store. the company who made the paper is CRAYOLA. The ribbons are the dollar ribbons you can purchase from the dollar bins at Michaels.
