MCT's 3-D Wednesday

Recycled Flower Tin...

Hi All! I hope your week has been creative and full of craftiness. Today, My Creative Time and the Design Team have FUN 3-D Wednesday projects for you. With the July Stamp and Die release, I could not decide what to use. If you have not seen it, head on over to My Creative Time to see all that you have been missing. And those who have received your purchase from the new release, have a blast creating with it! For my project, I wanted to create  something cheerful for my patio table. I had a couple of tin cans collecting dust in the garage. So, I decided to wash them and give them a bit of color. I took the tin cans outside and spray painted them red.

I added three layers of different textures and colors of ribbon around the painted tin can.

With my glue gun, I adhered the bow and red boa circle on the center of the tin. I used a printed cardstock to die cut the center of the bow for a faux button. The image of the bird ended up being perfectly in the center. The stitched Hexy Die cut was distressed with aqua fluid chalk.

I adhered the smallest hexy die cuts around the center of the can with foam dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my 3-D Wednesday project. To take a look at the rest of the Design Team projects, head on over to My Creative Time.

  5. I like recycled things and your tin is perfect. I like the fussy cut hex dies and layers of ribbons. Red boa is my favorite. Super job!
